FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred
10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with significant experience in a leadership position.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, Real estate or construction experience required.
Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams.

Provide strategic financial leadership to the accounting department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings.
Manage and optimize cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and implementing cash management strategies.
Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process and ensuring timely completion.
Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
